Bad News For TRT

Ibrahim Eren who is the General Director of TRT, his explanation about Eurovision and Conchita Wurst last year in August took place in the report of “2018 Turkey Censorship and Self-censorship”

Since 2013, TRT doesn’t participate in the Eurovision because of the voting system and the injustice, but it was understood that this was not the main reason after Ibrahim Eren’s homophobic explanation.

In the statement on page 25 of the report, “any content about “homosexuality” cannot take a part in music” in the form of homophobic censorship of TRT’s Eurovision decision was emphasized.
